Network

Los Angeles IPv4 transit optimized for connectivity between China and the rest of the world.

Routing mix

CN2 GIA, CMIN2, and China Unicom Premium optimized. Local peering, direct link to Google, Facebook, Cloudflare, Akamai.

Routed Layer 3 service

Each service receives one dedicated public IPv4 /32 routed over a GRE, IPIP, or WireGuard tunnel to one remote server, which may be a VM or physical server. The design is IPv4-only and does not route additional customer networks behind that server.

Tunnels

WireGuard supports NAT and roaming. GRE requires a stable public IPv4 and IP protocol 47. IPIP carries IPv4 unicast in IPv4 and requires a stable public IPv4 and IP protocol 4. GRE and IPIP are unencrypted and generally unsuitable behind NAT. However, their lower CPU and protocol overhead can offer better performance at higher speeds.
